The only limitations are based upon the hardware (including network) involved. ConfigMgr itself imposes no limits whatsoever. I've heard of folks doing near 100 simultaneous systems using unicast. If you hit a wall, it's because you've hit a bottleneck with your hardware or network configuration somewhere.
