By using our free BranchCache for OSD toolkit and a BITS policy you can deploy
as many systems as you want simultaneously, without any issues.

Let say you put a 10Mb/s limit on BITS in WinPE and having enough clients they
will each download at about a rate of 50-80Mbit/s, as content is shared.

More reliable than multicast.

Subject: [mssms] SV: Max number or simultaneous images.

We did some performace testing with 2007 so it's old data but with a 1 Gbit
interface in the DP and 100 mbit interfaces on the clients we ran about 60 at
once - unicast.

It wasn't fast but it worked

Ämne: [mssms] Max number or simultaneous images.

Are there any hard limits or general rules of thumb to the number of
simultaneous devices that can be imaged at one time on the same network?

Are the only limits server and network bandwidth?

Should I consider using multicast, I have about 50 devices at a facility we
want to image.

Has anyone run into problems deploying to many devices at the same time?

I am running SCCM 2012 R2 SP1.
