We've been using the Frigoboat system with a Capri 50-SSC
Compressor/Condenser and have to say that we're very happy with this system.
It keeps the freezer right at 0 degrees Fahrenheit. We keep a half dozen
small (about 1 cup) Blue Ice packets in the freezer and exchange them with a
like amount in the ice box each morning. This keeps our ice box in the
upper 30s for the most part.

Our current draw has been around 1.25 amps for 20 minutes out of each hour.
On startup, with a room temperature freezer, it runs at about 7 amps, but
the current draw drops very quickly, usually less than an hour, as the
temperature drops.

The installation was relatively easy (took less than a day). So far we've
had no problems.

Hope this helps,
