I'm a little confused on this thread. Why does the seller residing in the US 
have to deal with any of these issues?  Shouldn't that be the responsibility of 
the Canadian buyer? The boat two docks down from me just sold to a Canadian 
couple last week, and the only responsibility the seller had was to sign over 
the title and turn over the keys.
