You might be confusing the sailnet email service with sailmail? SailNet 
email was discontinued. See www.sailnet.com It was a long and slow 
death, a murder actually. An early blow was when they tried to charge 
for membership. A more recent one was when they configured it so you 
could not tell who was sending the email (address info was removed).

I have not heard about any sailmail issues, anyone else?
