One of the sites I get a weekly email from is COOL TOOLS, which
daily sends out a lot of neat stuff in the style of the old Whole Earth
Catalog. Tons of good stuff and good reading there. Recommended:

I related to one of the items in the email (located deeper in their
web page, about the hassles the 35,000 folks who are in motor
homes (are they land yachts?) living the nomad life on land and
decrying the number of cities that are passing ordinances that prohibit
anyone remaining in a parking lot in a motor home more than
one day or with limiting prohibitions.
The cool tools daily email also had some motor home
related catalogs of gear. We have found some similar stuff marketed
to motor home folks also marketed to the boating community.... but the
boat versions are always higher priced. If they were offering marinized
products it would be one thing, but I suspect they are the same product,
just marked up for folks on boats in some cases.
