Better yet...do what I did with my previous landlord.. refuse to talk to them on the phone and do your talking via email.. let them threaten to turn off your electric and all that... once the 'association' puts it in writing you have them by the ballz.. it is how I got my landlord in a corner.. .he lost... and he lost a second time... because he lost a long time tenant who paid her rent on time and was no hassle.. he has yet to be able to rent that commercial space sine.. and that was 6 mos ago..
