Yes, Charles, I am well aware of that fact. My Dad built them... Find me
one in the WEST catalog...

Paul,
I avoid West Marine like the plague. It is a good, no great, place to shop
when traveling and you really need something and cannot get to a commercial
supply house. With the internet one is able to "find" the part needed with
relative ease. I stress the word "part" as when one is repairing an item
think "part" not brand. Such as and O ring. In most all cases an O ring is
an O ring. Off the shelf. Therefore an O ring needed in my Teleflex steering
is available at the local hydraulic repair station or even the corner
hardware store for a few cents and not dollars from Teleflex.

Same with the bladder tanks, as several have posted names of companies that
sell them.

Now abt the subject at hand. I have been down the tank repair/replacement
road. I do not speak from conjecture.
I previously made reference to my web page and Tank Cleaning. I have done it
and the waste generated is minimal at best. When done right.

I researched the use of bladders inside my tanks and I found it to not be an
easy nor economical solution. I ended up repairing my steel tanks. This on
advice of the professional welder. Replacement with alum fabricated was the
next best solution, in MY case.

My findings were that a bladder is fine for temp deck use but not INSIDE an
old steel tank. YMMV.

Again, this is my hands on experience and not conjecture.
