Speaking of Transducers. I have a late model Garmin GPS/Depth combo
unit with a cable on the transducer that is long enough to reach between
them if I run it straight out of the cabin. However that will impede
activities such as replacing the floor board, climbing the companion way
ladder and closing the cabin doors. Does anyone know the proper way to
extend that cable? I took a glance at the Garmin site but didn't see an
extension cable. Before you ask I don't remember the exact model
number. I sure wish they made those things wireless.

Thanks,
Jim.
