Hi,

A friend of mine just pointed me at a bunch of NOAA depth charts
suggesting that about 9' of depth from Western Lake Erie has decided to
relocate itself in the environs of Eastern Lake Erie. Now I'm used to
Erie being something of a crazy lake in these respects, but feel
compelled to ask someone with local knowledge just how anomalous this
is. I mean being on Lake Ontario and all, I'm probably going to be
seeing at least a bit of the same weather system in a few hours, and am
wondering if I should try and repurpose some of my running rigging as
even more mooring lines (I'm not to worried about losing depth here,
since I'm pretty sure that I've got something in the neighbourhood of 10
clear feet under the keel).

Thanks,
Kris
