Ahhh that makes sense now... Diags... became... dikes

Reminds me of a funny story...

My worst faux pas with slag was when I worked in television.
A new female oriented TV station was due on the air and anyone with some spare
minutes was helping by running temporary cable for some of the gear.
Cables have female and male connectors.. and I needed a quick way to connect 2
video cables together.... female to female.... which was commonly called a
"lesbian"
So here I am yelling "Quick ! i need a lesbian... I need a lesbian !" with
only minutes to the station going live.
One guy who i'd known for years, gave me this look that said..."aw man now you
are in trouble"
Then I realized, to my chagrin, what I had been saying, while i was surrounded
by many of the new trainee, mainly female, staff.
Sure, all the experienced people knew what I really meant, but.....

Cheers,
Roy
