install synaptic package manager Then go through the list on this page: http://lives.sourceforge.net/index.php?do=downloads make sure you have everything installed including the -dev or -devel header files. for your convenience here is the list Software requirements (GNU/Linux) * mplayer 0.90rc1+ compiled with png/jpeg support (version 1.0pre8+ recommended) * ImageMagick 5+ * perl 5+ * gtk+ 2.4.0+ (2.14+ recommended) or gtk+ 3.0.0+ * libjpeg62 and/or libpng * gdk-pixbuf-loaders * sox with libsox-fmt-all * libpulse0 (recommended) * python 2.3.4+ (recommended) * SDL (recommended) * mencoder 1.0-pre5+ (recommended) * libmjpeg-tools (recommended) * libtheora (recommended) * libjack/jackit (optional) * cdda2wav (optional) For compilation from source, you will need: * GNU automake 1.7 or higher * GNU autoconf 2.57 or higher * GNU gettext 0.12.1 or higher (0.17 recommended) * GNU libtool 1.5.22 or higher * libgtk+-2.0-dev 2.4.0 or higher (2.14 or higher recommended) or (as of 2.0.0) libgtk+-3.0 3.0.0 or higher On 13-04-10 05:15 PM, [email protected] wrote: > Okay.
