Well, my idea was to start by renaming it to that, maintaining the current 
initialism (note: it's not an acronym if you can't pronounce it) and then 
start referring to it as "Luminous", or whatever other L-word the authors 
choose.  Eventually, it would be possible to drop "LMMS" altogether, 
because it'll be known to people as "Luminous" (or whatever).  

But as far as I've noticed, none of the authors have taken part in this 
latest name discussion, and for all I know they might have chosen a name 
already and just not started promoting it yet.  Or they might mean for 
Unison to replace LMMS when it's ready, which would make the name change 
discussion moot.
