Partial hijack, yes. However, his designs are very much based on the shape of "LMMS" as symbols. I like the design and I like the color palette. However, a different name deserves a different logo - no? I do like the icons - they are more discernible than the LMMS note (Vinnie); which is hard to recognize at small sizes.
Regarding names, I actually do like some of the suggestions. I'll see if Toby has time to send nominations to me from the list of submitted suggestions. I will add my nominations and we can actually get the name-change ball rolling!
