It could be less, but it should be 5 years. We should buy the domain for at
least 5 years so that we don't have to search for new money annually.
> it's a part of a balance, if you will not balance things then, there will

What? Forever? I'm talking about waiting until this weekend before starting
the second round. Then we'll wait until the number of votes per day
decreases, this is maximum another week. Then I'll buy the new domain,
maybe manage the money first if it's too expensive. So we'll have the
domain in about 2 weeks, what's wrong with that?
> the design is already changing as we see cms-work is ongoing and to
promote it well it's better to have it quick and easy, so not only
lmms-users could remember it well, but push it on youtube tutorial or
something else, there's a lot where domain name can be used, so as fast
this will go live the better result could be.
That is by far not finished and will take more time than getting the new
domain. We absolutely don't have to hurry because of this.
Btw, I thought we agreed on django? Well now I have already put quite some
hours of work into a django-driven website. Unnecessarily.

and if someone else will take the name as i had with my domain, then things
gets more complicated and this is why i'm kinda trying to hurry'up things.
lmms.org and lmms.com are already taken and not used.
I doubt someone's going to buy one of those domains within the next two
weeks. lmms.org and lmms.com have been taken for years (lmms.com since
2002). What was that with your domain?
> really it's not a problem also, but maybe people will be more happy with
some domain name knowing that project evolves and it goes right now and
they can help too (for example).
That is more likely to happen with a new website, which is being worked on.
Nevertheless, my main point (number 2 in my last post, you didn't respond
to this one):
I initiated the current process of buying a new domain. I offered
sponsoring a domain (if it's not too expensive), I organise and manage this
issue. And I, the guy who coordinates things, tell you, the guy who
suddenly appeared trying to help, which I sincerely thank you for, but also
the guy who lately is getting in my way and starts polls without any
consultation, to stop.
Let me handle this affair. If you want to help that's great, but stop doing
it single-handedly. Because that way you're only making it worse. Ask me
before.
