there's few opportunities in few weeks. first domain lmms.org expires in 16.05. second new domains zones lmms.art, lmms.music and others can be released in about month or so, their cost/y can be about 20-70$, said it will be opened in Q2 for register.
the way i see is to propose lmms.org current owner (that is VPS hoster) to set their advertising on lmms.site if they will provide hosting+domain name. needs some statictical data on how many site visits there is and also what is needed actually or what can be askable, meaning that there's no need in 5TB storage and actually ads price is not too big can be about 10-15$... it depends and really maybe they will not do it or maybe they are lmms.fans so they'll just give it for free (not really sure). they spent about 10-20$ to hold that name for 2 years. and well conceptually it needs some agreement on this question i guess. so it's up to you to decide.
