I think we should generate one format by default. The branch can generate all
formats all at once if the POM is configured to do so. We will have to read in
ALL formats we end up supporting. So we should choose wisely. Perhaps KISS and
YAGNI says here: generate the one new format, whatever that is, and support
reading of both the old and new.
