You can get the lab coats from hospitals and labs depending on if you know
any crazy chemists. Or, you could just look like a doctor and walk right
in, don a lab coat and walk right out.
I went as a mad scientist one year in university and I added an erlenmeyer
flask with cupric sulphate [ made the water a lovely blue ] and some dry
ice for the foaming glassware effect.
Also, get some hair goo to make your hair stand on end.
Practise your cackle and mumbling to yourself.
Wear 2 different coloured socks with birkenstock sandals.
Glow in the dark decals would be a nice effect if walking around in the
dark at all.
