I've had to take several measures.....
1) Changed my mobile phone number!!! (Now it only rings 2 or 3 times a day
instead to 20 odd)
2) Procmail automatically deletes any email that has VB, Microsoft or SQL
Server in it. It also sort of checks the offered salary... don't wont to
miss the big ones :)
3) Put myself on the TPS list (Telephone preference service) - since my
company runs it. Although this doesn't really work for Agencies as they
will just claim they got your name from your CV which was posted somewhere
(eg Jobsite).... although if you threaten them... they do get scared :)
No fool proof way but I have cut down my phone calls by 90% and emails by
99%
