I don't like the flicker of CRTs much at all, and I don't fancy parting with
�500 to get a device that gives me a headache. Non-flickery kit is more or
less two grand, which I cannot really justify. When I hit 31, the prices of
100Hz and/or projector displays should be something sensible and I may then
acquire one.

Sony do seem to make the best TVs though. My old Sony portable just won't
die.
