Wouldn't AxKit be better for these platforms?
(Can't say I've used it..)

I believe Embperl 2 will/does support Cold Fusion / JSP / .net(?) style custom tags,
which is one approach to the mass debate on separating presentation & logic
although it's becoming quite a while since I've used Embperl, so I might
have dreamt it.

[harking back to earlier post in thread]
Complaining about Embperl being unsuitable for generating zone files
is a little unfair, it is called HTML::Embperl! But yes, that
flexibility would be nice - Embperl (used to, at least) make certain
HTML-ish assumptions that broke my WML.

Staying on HTML/XML related content, I quite like the look of .NET,
especially as you'll be able to use Perl (slight shame about the platform,
but maybe that'll change).
