I can't get my airport to deal with DNS properly - well, not as linux
would use it. This isn't a problem for me as I'm only using it as a
bridge to a smoothie, but when I'm at my parents place and I'm using it as
a modem then the DNS doesn't work. This isn't a major problem for me as I
can use proxying for the web and I know the IPs of my own server to ssh
to....but it can be annoying.

Yes, it is silly, but bloody handy if you don't have any actual network
cables to hand[1]. You can do it from Linux with Java too. Yey.
Later.
Mark.
[1] Yes, I am aware of the security risks involved. My net connection, my
risk..
