I'm quite interested about what ammounts you can use on day-by-day transactions, like buying some bread by the morning and an orange juice can by the night. What is the current monetary units on UK, today?


There were also halfpennies and farthings (which were 1/4 pennies).
Other commonly used values: Tuppence; Thrupence; sixpence;
