I have checked the london.pm FAQ but I am still confused about this [OT] business.
Use [OT] when the subject is definitely off topic - but still of interest to many people on the list and there is no better way to tell them.
I think the idea behind using [OT] to describe any posting about perl is a joke which some people didn't get. Oh well.
