I'm very happy to just leave MY name exactly as it is. Google finds three Alan 
McKinnons with a decent number of hits - me and two very well respected Comp 
Sci professors.

If people want to assume that either of those professors is me, I'm quite 
happy to let them stay confused... <nonchalant whistle...>
