Hi. I strongly agree this idea. My main using distribution, Debian, is using ‘ip’ command as default since last time. It may means LPIC should be reducing the weight of net-tools (like ifconfig) and increasing the weight of ‘ip’ command. (I still love old net-tools commands like ifconfig, route, netstat and so on). On last releasing of Ubuntu,17.10, they set Netplan for network configuration as default. LPIC might need the topic of Netplan in (not now but near) future.
