Hi all, I've got a strange problem here. I've got the following printcap
utility:
:rw:sf:sh:rm=utility:
:lpd_bounce:
:rp=print:
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/canon405:
:lf=lpd-errs:
:mx=0
When I print from localhost or Samba the banners are suppressed yet when I
print
from a Solaris server pointing to the LPRng server I get banners again.
The Solaris server is setup using
lpadmin -p utility -T unknown -I any -s printers (I've also tried -T =
hplaser)
I'd like to avoid having to install LPRng on all the Unix boxes.
If anyone has some pointers for me to check I'd really appreciate them.
Thanks,
