OK, I hate to bring up this old chestnut again, but somehow I thought I
had this working, but now it doesn't seem to.
If I have something like:
xenadirect:lp=xena.engin.umich.edu%9100:direct
I get an error like:
Status Information:
sending job 'jklaas@taloned+852' to xenadirect@localhost
connecting to 'localhost', attempt 1
cannot open connection to localhost - Connection refused
Make sure LPD server is running on the server
However, doing:
lpr -P xena%9100 -Y /etc/motd
works great. Any other ideas?
