LPRng: waiting for subserver to exit

Hi, all

under some unknown conditions printing is held.

lpq -P gp5 reports:

Printer: gp5@km 'network-192.168.173.9-4010'
Queue: 1 printable job

I would like to notice that while this queue id held, the printer is working and I can print fron another system to the same printer.

The solution to this problem is just giving the command : lpc kill gp5

but this is not a solution for heavy duty sites.

any ideas?
