As previously noted, if applications are going to share a metric, then there is
no need to send multiple TLVs. One TLV is sufficient.
well, not in case where you want a per application granularity of which
application uses that metric on a particular ink. To do that you need
per application/per link signaling. You propose to use different
metric-type, we propose to use the bit in the common metric type. That's
the whole difference.
If the metric values are not equal, then multiple metrics and multiple TLVs
will be required with or without ASLA.
sure, but if values are equal, ASLA has a benefit.
