Hi Jim,

Thanks for your concern,

Actually this message does not exist anymore. It was when I used 2 IPs
addresses on the same ethernet namely
eth1: 192.168.1.1
eth1:0 192.168.0.1

I wanted to make sure the error did not come from the 2 ip addresses and now
everything goes on eth1 that is 192.168.1.1 and the actual messages are:

Looking up port of RPC 100003/2 on 192.168.1.1
Looking up port of RPC 100005/1 on 192.168.1.1
VFS: Mounted Root (NFS filesystem)
Freeing unused kernel memory: 56k freed
nfs: Server 192.168.0.1 not responding, timed out
nfs: Server 192.168.0.1 not responding, still trying

Here is my dhcp.conf file, although i am not sure it goes till it reads it:

[Default]
#       SERVER             = 192.168.0.254
        SERVER             = 192.168.1.1
        XSERVER            = XF86_SVGA
        X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL   = "PS/2"
        X_MOUSE_DEVICE     = "/dev/psaux"
        X_MOUSE_RESOLUTION = 400
        X_MOUSE_BUTTONS    = 3
        USE_XFS            = N
        LOCAL_APPS         = N
        LOCAL_WM           = N
#       UI_MODE            = GUI
        UI_MODE            = SHELL
        RUNLEVEL           = 3

Thanks for helping me

Cheers

Jacques
