Hi folks!
I installed LTSP v2.08 (not for the first time, i have already two systems
running for about 1 year!)
I know this is more an etherboot than a ltsp-problem, but the 2 projects
are so close one to each other, that maybe someone of you has a clue...
This time i got some "old" european IBM 790 computers (aka P166 with
32Megs of RAM, a Trio64V+...) They also have a PCI-Bus, so i got a
pci ovislink card (works very fine in other systems) with rtl8139 on it
and tried to boot with some of my bootdisks (etherboot 4.8.x, 5.0.2 and
5.03 from rom-o-matic that work on the other system!!!!!).... they
get until looking for DHCP and stop then....
The routes on the server are OK. I made a tcpdump on the server to get any
information from the client - none.... i also tried to set the client in
the other (working) ltsp network, but nothing happens... So I installed
debian on the machine to see if the NIC works, and everything works
there...
Did I miss something?
BTW... i tried to connect a working client on the new server an got a
dhcp-request in the log files, so the server-side seems to be ok!
