Thanks to all who try to help me, but I still could
not run my terminal with a Cirrus Logic 5434 with 1Mb
video RAM at 800x600 resolution. My monitor is a
Syncmaster 4s (14" SVGA).
I tried LTSP (2.08 and 2.09pre4) with Red Hat (7.1 &
7.2)and Mandrake (8.0 & 8.1) distributions without
success. I am tired of install & reinstall them...
If I use RH 7.1 or Mdk 8.0 I could setup my terminals
with LTSP 2.08 but only at 640x480.
Using RH 7.2 or Mdk 8.1 with LTSP 2.09pre4 I have no
success at all, neither 640x480 nor 800x600, I try
almost everything you recommend me.
Now I am trying with Mdk 8.0 and LTSP 2.08 and get the
following errors:

I think the problem is related with Xfree support of
my card, is it posible to know in advance which
distribution/LTSP combination would work with this
video card at 800x600? Do you think if I made a full
install of Mandrake 8.1 on my terminal (will need to
add a hard drive, cdrom and upgrade to 32MB RAM to
try) and copying relevant xfree configuration files
after setting it to run at 800x600 16bit will solve my
problem? Any other solution?
