The formula that i've seen seems to be figure out how much memory you
want available to each workstation, multiply by the number of
workstations, and then add some factor for the server itself. For
example, if you want each workstation to have 64 MB available, and the
server to have 128 of its own, then:
     64 MB * 10 workstations + 128 MB = 768 MB.
Given memory prices lately, such a large amount should hopefully be
feasible for you. You can of course play with the numbers to raise or
lower the amount, such as giving the workstations more or less to play
with.
