Hi,
I currently use Windows NT TSE to provide terminal services to a number of Windows-based clients, running the standard TS client. One of the applications I use on TSE is Exceed to get access to another system running AIX, from which I run an X app. Of course I could have done this with Exceed loaded on all the clients, but I wanted to use the bandwidth efficiency of RDP over slow links, which make running X over them impractical.
I am very interested in changing NT TSE to Linux, but still need the ability to run a thin terminal services client that can run an X app from Windows-based PCs, over a slow link. I hope that's not too confusing!
LTSP looks good, but I can't boot off a floppy - I need a client that can be launched from the Windows environment. VNC might be an option, but I'm not convinced about using it over a slow link or with more than one concurrent user.
Can anyone suggest a further option, or give an opinion on the above?

Thanks for any help,

Jim
