Yes, I believe that what is happening is that your DC's lease is expiring
and it cannot find a dhcp server to renew with.
You can change your entries in your dhcp.conf file for:
"default-lease-time"
and
"max-lease-time"
to a new and larger amount.
You might even be able to remove or comment out these entries.
