I ran this but it was after I had already
removed the old tftp and tftp-server from the
PC and compiled the tftp-hpa from 
ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/software/network/tftp

If it would be of any benefit I am quite happy
to trash what I have, re-install Linux-Mandrake and the
original tftp-server etc and go from there.
It does seem however that either there is something
wrong with Mandrake - listening for tcp but not udp
or the tftp-server from the LTSP site is conflicting.
