If the OP is using a serial mouse and their own XF86Config, then they won't specify the X_MOUSE_DEVICE. With the stock kernel then the serial driver doesn't get loaded while booting. To fix this they can either compile their own kernel, or edit linuxrc or do the lazy thing which is include the X_MOUSE_DEVICE = /dev/ttyS0 (or whichever device) in addition to the XF86Config line. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
