Hello all,

I would be very interested in any answers to this question as well, as I
have been trying to do this exact same thing. I know and understand that it
seems a bit odd to want to use LTS to boot to a Winblows Terminal Server,
but it saves CALS and we are interested in migrating our users slowly to the
Linux desktop. We are a production facility and most of our users are not
literate when it comes to computers. Changing them overnight would be a
major mistake.

Is there an answer here?

Subject: [Ltsp-discuss] automatic logins with ltsp

Okay here is my setup. I have a Win2k TS running to accept rdesktop
clients.

I have a Suse8.0 linux box that is running ltsp.

I have a diskless client that gets the image just fine and will allow me
to run an x windows session.

I added the rdesktop command to the .bashrc file and when I log into linux
from the thinclient it runs rdesktop just fine.

What I am trying to do is have the diskless workstation boot from the
linux server and "auto login" and run the rdesktop command. any help
would be appreciated.

I tried running it with kdm with kdm's AutoLoginEnabled=true in the kdmrc
file but that only allows my linux server to auto login. Trying to get
just the client to do it.
