RH 7.3 uses X 4.2 which has some support for S3. LTSP uses X 4.1 which has no support for S3 chips. I see two options: A. use X 3.3.6 with S3 support (easy) B. install X 4.2 (a bit more complicated) For A. in the section for this workstation use: XSERVER = XF86_S3 And there must be a binary named XF86_S3 in /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/X11R6/bin/ That binary can be downloaded from ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/3.3.6/binaries/Linux-ix86-glibc21/Servers/XS3.tgz or by installing the ltsp package x336_s3 from http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ltsp/ltsp_x336_s3-3.0.0-0.i386.rpm?download For B. see http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=628790&forum_id=2544 -- Hans Ekbrand
