the refused server seems like that the configuration for LTSP is not finished correctly. I believe you need to add the workstation IP and such to LTSP.conf. the connection refused part is something that needs to be addressed.
as for the graphics, this is hardware limited, you could try using a manual setting, and perhaps get something better, but I couldn't tell you where to begin, its been a long time. i think you would need to start at getting the physical specs on the video card that is within, ie the sync rates, refresh rates, and all that good stuff. for that old of a machine though.. good luck at anyrate, compare that to the same specs of the monitor and find a manually conifugre the xf86.conf file (i don't recall the location), but at anyrate, you will still be limited to what the card can physicall do. in another way though, this could be used as a dumb terminal for a terminal screen only. at least it gives you some functionality... joey ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, November 24, 2002 10:09 PM Subject: [Ltsp-discuss] thinclient problems > Hello guys: > > > I´m trying to establish connection with my Acer 486 with a vga16 (I see it > inside the mother board)from the > server and I received messages like this: > > Xlib: connection to "pc-158:0" refused by server. > Xlib: Client is Authorized to connect to server. > > And I also try to execute the > # xhost + > But I have no answer. > > first.
