What does that onboard chip actually run ? If it's PXE, a quick stop by rom-o-matic and some dhcpd hacking will suffice - cheaper than replacing the current roms also.
It's a Intel eepro and works like a charm with PXE/rom-o-matic stuff, you need to remove the ROM, or it will boot into the built-in elux (Some kind of embbeded Linux).
As written, I got a bunch of them, customized WITHOUT the ROM.
