Okay....I am starting to make some headway here..lol I finally got my tftp server to respond. To do this, I stopped the "iptables" with the following command:
service iptables stop I then was able to tftp into the server and download files. Next I tried booting my client...everything seemed to go okay until it started erroring out with the following: /tmp/Start_ws: /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86-S3: No Such File or Directory What does this mean? -----Original Message----- From: Timothy Legge [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2003 2:18 PM To: Mike O'Toole Subject: RE: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] LTSP errors Initial thought is that as per your mail to the list EB is not able to connect to the tftp server... > > From: Mike O'Toole <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: 2003/11/18 Tue PM 05:02:42 GMT > To: "'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: RE: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] LTSP errors > > Hey Timothy, > > Yeah...those are correct mac and IP addresses. > > Thanks for all your help. > > Mike > > -----Original Message----- > From: Timothy Legge [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2003 12:04 PM > To: 'Mike O'Toole' > Subject: RE: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] LTSP errors > > > Is the mac address: 00:ac:c9:a4:79:d5 and the ip 192.168.50.151? > > If so, I will review this evening I am on my way back to work... > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Mike O'Toole [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2003 12:53 PM > > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' > > Subject: RE: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] LTSP errors > > > > Okay..I ran that command and here is the resulting file. > > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Timothy Legge [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2003 11:46 AM > > To: 'Mike O'Toole' > > Subject: RE: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] LTSP errors > > > > > > Run tcpdump -s 1520 -w /tmp/nic.dmp and send me the file. > > > > TIm > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > > From: Mike O'Toole [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2003 12:05 PM > > > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' > > > Subject: RE: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] LTSP errors > > > > > > Okay...so I ran the tcpdump on the server while the client was > > attempting > > > to > > > boot.
