- Is it possible to desactivate actions buttons (like reboot or shutdown)
on
login screen only for many users and let them for authorized users ?
If you are running gdm - in etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf :
# The Actions menu (formerly system menu) is shown in the greeter, this is
the
# menu that contains reboot, shutdown, suspend, config and chooser. None of
# these is available if this is off. They can be turned off individually
# however
#SystemMenu=true
Change to:
SystemMenu=false
If you are running kdm - in /opt/Kde3/kdm/kdmrc :
# Who is allowed to shut down the system. This applies both to the
# greeter and to the command FiFo.
# "None" - no "Shutdown..." menu entry is shown at all
# "Root" - the root password must be entered to shut down
# "All" - everybody can shut down the machine
# Default is All
Change to:
AllowShutdown=Root

Hello everybody !
I have two questions :

I have also a problem when i try to boot from a pc with broadcom gigabit
ethernet card, it boot but after my screen is blank and nothing else appear
?
