Hi Jim,

Thanks for your reply. That's exactly what I did. The resolution is
indeed set to 800x600, but the root window is larger than that.
Below is my its.conf file. cladm002 is the client concerned:

[Default]
         SERVER             = 172.18.17.1
         XSERVER            = auto
         X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL   = "PS/2"
         X_MOUSE_DEVICE     = "/dev/psaux"
         X_MOUSE_RESOLUTION = 400
         X_MOUSE_BUTTONS    = 3
         USE_XFS            = N
         SCREEN_01 = rdesktop -f cladms004.cpttm
         SCREEN_02          = shell

[cladm002]
         SCREEN_01 = rdesktop -f cladms004.cpttm -g 100%
         SCREEN_02 = startx
         X_MODE_0 = 800x600
         X_MODE_1 = 1024x768
         X_HORZSYNC            = "31.5-60.0" # Acer FP450 LCD monitor
         X_VERTREFRESH         = "56.0-75.0"
