...do you recommend for a 20-client ltsp environment with 24bpp graphics (for animations or videos)? Most of the clients have 100mbps NIC, but there are clients with 1Gbps NIC, as well. The LTSP server has Gbps NICs.
I have read somewhere that some switches hang up the network traffic on a port when it gets overloaded (e.g. because of the large number of "video packets")... On the ltsp wiki pages, I have not found any information about the network hardware requirements or suggestions...
