To all that posted and Jim,

Thanks for the update and insightful information.  The discussion here at
Vision21 Networks is to stop installing LTSP on 386 architecture.  Many
global communities that do not have the funds to up-to-date architecture
was taking advantage of what this service and linux offered to assist with
have computer technology on a mass scale plus economical.  The days of this
type of setup is now over.

A great deal of the Linux Distros are becoming too heavy.  Many are trying
to incorporate proprietory software in their offering for mass appeal and
to survive. I noticed at LTSP there are 5 distros listed Fedora, Ubuntu,
Gentoo, Open Suse, and Debian.  Which is the lightest and offer the most in
terms of scalability, support and deployment in anyones' opinion?
