Hello I managed to find ltsp-discuss@lists.sourceforge.net/msg41007.html in reply to someone using OpenVZ with wheezy, but would like to open this topic in the hope that there are fewer steps.
New install using wheezy netinst 1) included non-free for apt 2) added additional software for printer server but no desktop (at this stage.) 3) rebooted from hd 4) aptitude update 5) aptitude -y full-upgrade 6) aptitude install lxde education-desktop-lxde xorg 7) aptitude -R install ltsp-server ltspfs ltspfsd ltspfsd-core ltsp-docs ltsp-client-core ltsp-client debootstrap fuse-utils ldm-server liblzo2-2 nbd-server squashfs-tools dnsmasq epoptes epoptes-client python-twisted-web Is it possible not to run ltsp-build-client but to later create nbd.img with ltsp-update-image / ? In short the intention is to use wheezy but in an ubuntu ltsp-pnp way. What scripts need to be run and what changes to dnsmasq? (for instance using dnsmasq as an tftp server and only as a dhcp proxy) Richard Richard ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 positioned as A LEADER in The Forrester Wave(TM): Endpoint Security, Q1 2013 and "remains a good choice" in the endpoint security space.
