You remind me of the biological creature called a lysosome which
essentially has a distinct feature of destroying itself eventually as it
grows :--)))). Please do not condemn Linux to that destiny too.

IMHO, Linux is linux, as long as the GPL is honoured and Red Hat does not
attempt to twist arms in future, all is well this side of Operating
systems. Have you by any chance tried to use Mandrake for a workstation ?
I just got the Suse version that boots off CD and it seems to rock btw.

Will be going purely Linux in our office by the end of this month. Just
completed a battle of locating an open source accounting programme that
would rival Quick books and indeed Mybooks is a good alternative.

So as you party with Gaetano on Saturday, some of us shall be fine tuning
Linux on the desktop.
