Dear LUGers,

I have an old cisco 2500 series router (model 2514) with :

cisco 2500 (68030) processor (revision L) with 6144K/2048K bytes of memory.

currently running IOS version 11.0.
The fact is that I wanted to do NAT with it but it seems that the first
image of IOS able to do NAT is the 12.0. I am not a Cisco expert at all and
don't have a register account on cisco.com (I am only a poor guest ... :-)
so I cannot access the "Software Upgrade Tool"

I have 3 questions for you guys :
Pb 0 : Is it worst working on a old box like this ?
Pb 1 : How do I know if my particular router can support the IOS
12.0version and how can I get the right image ?
Pb 2 : If not, does a memory upgrade can help ? (I think maximum is 16Mb
...)

cordially,
